Cynthia Culbert

December 4, 1930 — October 22, 2014

Cynthia E. Culbert, age 83 of Coloma, died unexpectedly on October 22, 2014 at St. Michael's Hospital, Stevens Point. She was born on December 4, 1930 in Milwaukee to Earle Cady and Laura (Gerlach) Hessler. In Jan of 1949 she married Llewellyn "Red" Culbert. Cynthia and Llewellyn owned and operated Flame Bridal Shop in West Bend and Hartford for many years until retiring to Coloma. She enjoyed the watching the wildlife outside their home. Cynthia's heart was into serving with HCE Group which is a UW Extension Service in Marquette County. She was VERY involved with the group and served in many different capacities. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.



Cynthia is survived by her three daughters: Linda (Ken) Metz, AZ, Chris (Ronald) Depies, Random Lake, Patricia (Ron) Jung, West Bend; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Llewellyn "Red" Culbert; son: Louie Culbert and brother: Earl Hessler.



Memorial services will be held at 11:30AM on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Calvary United Methodist Church, Coloma. Officiating at the service will be Pastor Larry Douma with burial at Wisconsin Veteran's Cemetery, King, at a later date. The family will greet relatives and friends at church on Wednesday from 10:30AM until the time of service at 11:30AM.
