Colleen LeRae Krempleski, age 87 of Wautoma, passed away on October 7, 2013 at Wild Rose Manor where she had been a resident for the past 2 years. She was born on January 3, 1926 in Barron, WI, the daughter of Louis and Martha (Anderson) Dahl. Colleen married Stanley Krempleski on July 21, 1956 in West Allis. He preceded her in death on May 17, 2013. Colleen was a homemaker most of her life the later worked in a nursing home as a housekeeper and also at JC Penny in West Allis. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and loved making those around her happy. Her kind heart and love for her husband was evident to everyone that knew her.
Colleen is survived by her son: Donald (Donna) Krempleski; two granddaughters: Kristin and Kelly; sister-in-law: Anna O'Kray, two very special nieces: Sue Gomes and Kathy Feezor; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Stanley Krempleski; two sisters: Lois Krawczak, Marnetta Hayes and a brother in infancy.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wautoma. Officiating at the Mass will be Rev. Emmanuel Bialoncik OFM with burial to follow in Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, King, WI. The family will greet relatives and friends at church on Thursday from 10AM until the time of Mass at 11AM.
