Age 82, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2011 at home surrounded by family. Clyde was born on July 27, 1929 in the Town of Little Black, WI to Harry and Mary (Habermeyer) Paul.
Clyde started to work at Nash Kelvinator in 1948. He joined the Army in 1950. While stationed in Babenhausen, Germany Clyde met Henrietta Mahr. They were married in Germany October 7th, 1953 just prior to Clyde's discharge.
Upon returning to the States, Mr. & Mrs. Paul moved to Milwaukee, WI where they both worked for American Motors until 1967, at which time they moved to Spring Lake in Waushara County. Here, Clyde filled his time working as a carpenter at Walker Co. until he went into his own business in 1983. Clyde worked for Waushara Home Building Center in Wautoma until his retirement in 1991.
After retirement Clyde was an active member of VFW Post #10892 of Neshkoro, WI and volunteered at the WI Veteran's Home in King, WI. Clyde was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed fishing on the lake.
Clyde is survived by his wife, Henriettta Paul, daughter, Diane (Paul)Noblitt and grandson Jacob Noblitt, his son, Albert Paul and loving friend Nicki Bielmeyer, sister, Elaine Colby, and aunt, Charlotte Habermeyer. Clyde also has many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Galen Paul, brother Myron Paul, and sister Corrinne (Paul) Neitzel.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 11:00AM Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neshkoro.
A time of visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00am until the time of services at the Church.
Memorials to Mrs. Henrietta Paul are appreciated to help assist with the service expenses.
