Clifford A. Rohde

Clifford Albert Rohde, age 85 of Berlin, passed away surrounded by family Wednesday evening, March 1, 2023 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah from injuries received in a snowmobile accident.

He was born November 8, 1937 in the township of Dakota, Waushara County. the son of Albert and Beatrice (Temple) Rohde. He married Beverly Jean Voeltner on September 8, 1957 at Grace Lutheran Church in Berlin. She preceded him in death on February 18, 2023.

Cliff was a graduate of Westfield High School. In his early years he worked for his father-in-law at Voeltner Construction in Berlin. Later, he was employed at Pre-Cast Concrete in Omro, C.R. Meyer and Boldt Construction. He was a proud member of the Carpenters Union for over 50 years. Cliff was a hobby pilot, loved snowmobiling, lawn mowing and tinkering on his old Ford Retractable cars. Though, his favorite way to spend his time was being with family. Bev and Cliff also enjoyed yearly trips to the beach and especially treasured times when their family could join them. Clifford will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by one son, Craig (Carleen) Rohde, Berlin; six grandchildren: Timothy Francisco, Wautoma, Amanda (Will) Golumski, Columbus, Emily Francisco (Dylan) Berlin, Alyssa (Erich) Mueller, Onalaska, Carter Rohde, Berlin, Camdyn Rohde, Berlin; eight great- grandchildren: Bethany, Corbin, Beverly, Isabelle, Eagan, Daisy, Margo and Lennon; one brother-in-law, Darrell (Diane) Voeltner, Berlin; two sisters-in-law, Cheryl Chappa, Redgranite, Bonnie (Mike) Hermanson, Berlin. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Kathy Francisco; two sisters, Eunice and Shirley; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ronald and Marilyn Voeltner.

Joint Memorial Services for Clifford and Beverly Rohde will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services.
