Clementine L. Kozinski, age 104, of Wautoma, died peacefully Saturday evening, April 9, 2016 at Heartland House in Wautoma.
She was born May 31, 1911 in Cudahy, the daughter of John and Theodoro (Szymek) Rathke. She married Walter Kozinski on April 25, 1936 in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on February 22, 1991.
Clem and her late husband resided in Milwaukee for many years before moving to Wautoma in 1971. She was employed as an assembler at the former American Motors Co. for 23 years. She loved to crochet and help make greeting cards for St. Joseph Mission. She enjoyed volunteering at McComb/Bruchs Performing Arts Center and assisting with the Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She is survived by her nieces, Loretta Bienek, Milwaukee, Mary Anne Bolan, Wautoma, Dolores Riese, Virginia, and Patsey Anderson, Washington; her nephews, David Bienek, Arizona and Terry Sutton, Stevens Point. She is further survived by many grandnieces, grandnephews, other
relatives and dear friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Edwin Rathke; and by two sisters, Celia Bienek and Phyllis Bolan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wautoma with the Rev. David Greskowiak officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Walter at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Milwaukee.
Visitation will be held on Friday at the Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established for the new gathering space at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
