Charlotte M. Bleskey (Disterhaft), age, 74, of Wautoma passed away Friday, October 23, 2015 in the swing bed unit of Wild Rose Community Memorial Hospital.
She was born February 26, 1941 in Princeton, WI, the daughter of Edward R. and Lillian K. (Hieland) Disterhaft. She married James E. Bleskey on May 27, 1983 in Berlin. He preceded her in death on November 21, 2014.
Charlotte worked for 40 years at Realist/David White Corp. in Berlin as a group leader in the Optical Department. She was a member of Waushara/Wautoma Senior Citizens and the Waushara County Farm Bureau. Charlotte enjoyed farm life with her husband for many years. Her love for the country life is reflected in her many hobbies of gardening, canning, and helping at the County Fair and the Farm Bureau. Many hours were spent enjoying crocheting, reading, listening to music and traveling. She was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wautoma.
She is survived by four sisters, Sr. Rosalie of Milwaukee, Madeline (Ron) Klingbeil, Lucy Szesterniak and Monica Disterhaft, all of Berlin; two brothers, Stanish (Diane) Disterhaft and Ralph Disterhaft, both of Berlin. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends, and her beloved cat Lucky.
In addition to her husband, James Bleskey, she was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lillian Disterhaft.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wautoma with Rev. David Greskowiak officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.
