Charles "Moose" Moosbrugger, age 81, of Wautoma, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Silver Lake Manor.
He was born on October 15, 1929 in Milwaukee, the son of Charles and Freida (Haase) Moosbrugger. He married Dora Woerner in Tippecanoe Church, Milwaukee on October 28, 1951.
Moose worked as an expeditor for Louis-Alice Company in Milwaukee for many years. Upon his retirement, he and his wife relocated to Wautoma, where he worked for the Waushara County DNR for three years. Moose was interested in cars and enjoyed stockcar racing. He also enjoyed many spontaneous road trips with his family. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Dora Moosbrugger, Wautoma; his four children, Deborah Moosbrugger, Wautoma; Bennett (Donna) Moosbrugger, Waterford; Gerald Moosbrugger, Columbia, SC and Kristina (Eric) Hutchins, Eleva; two grandchildren, Brandon (Dana) Bradley and Hannah (Alex) Anderson; three great-grandchildren, Laylla, Brycen and Phelix Bradley. He is further survived by his sister, Wilma Krueger, one brother-in-law Edward (Carol) Woerner, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, and one brother, Richard.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 1:00pm Crossroads Family Church, Wautoma with Rev. Dan Carlson officiating.
A time of visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00am until the time of services at the Church.
