Catherine N. Korolewski, age 101, of Wild Rose, passed away Monday morning, March 12. 2012, at Rosemore Village in Wild Rose. She was born July 5, 1910 in Martin County, Minnesota, the daughter of Frank and Katherine (Gaworski) Nowicki. She married Dr. Theodore S. Korolewski. He preceded her in death in 1990. She and her late husband resided in Fall Creek, Wisconsin for many years. Later, they moved to West Bend and then she moved to Wautoma. Catherine loved knitting and was an avid reader. She will be fondly remembered for knitting mittens for the Wautoma Hornet Booster Club. Survivors include one son, Ted (Gretchen Grimm) Korolewski, Wild Rose; one daughter, Kay (A.J.) Martin, Fort Washington, Maryland; four grandchildren, John (Sally) Korolewski, Manitowoc, Dave (Chris) Korolewski, Grafton, Joni (Mark) Schlicht, Menomonee Falls, T.J. (Rochelle) Korolewski, Oshkosh; eight great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter, four brothers and three sisters. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2012 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma. Burial will be at Washington County Memorial Park in West Bend.
