Caroline Ida Pitcher

Caroline Ida Pitcher age 92 of Wautoma passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at Thedacare Hospital, Wild Rose. She was born on March 6, 1932 in Wautoma to Herman and Ida (Standtke) Grimm. Caroline married Danny Pitcher on September 26, 1959 at St Paul’s Lutheran Church, Wild Rose. She worked at Grimm’s cleaning for many years. She was an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wild Rose and enjoyed quilting with her friends at church. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Caroline is survived by her son: Ronald (Wendy) Taplin; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Danny Pitcher and her son: Randy Taplin.

Memorial Services will be held at 11AM on Friday, June 14, 2024 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Wild Rose. The family will greet relatives and friends at church on Friday, June 14, 2024 from 10AM until the time of services at 11AM. 

The family wishes to express a heartfelt Thank You to Caroline’s nieces and nephews for their wonderful care given to Caroline over the years.
