Beverly "Pinky" Buschke

Beverly C. “Pinky” Buschke joined her heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in New London on August, 26, 1948 to Lester and Elizabeth (Sabo) Monty. Pinky graduated from Bear Creek Catholic School in 1966.  On October, 17, 1970, Pinky married Gordy Buschke in Bear Creek.  She was employed by Morgan Doors in Oshkosh WI for several years.  She took pride in cleaning for local homeowners and businesses for over 20 years.  Her longest and hardest job was raising her four children that she was extremely proud of. Pinky enjoyed her time at the casino, taking care of her yard and garden, puzzles, watching her shows, the Green Bay Packers and most of all spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter.   She was a life-member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and St. Joseph’s Ladies Aid.

Pinky will be deeply missed by her children: Angela (Michael Anzivino) Buschke, Chip (Kristin) Buschke, Corrin (Rob Jezwinski) Buschke, Cassee (Keith Anderson) Buschke; grandchildren: Jason, Halie, Kinsey, Hunter, Harper; great-granddaughter: Delaney; son-in-law: Ramiro (Neida) Contreras;  two sisters: Elizabeth (Jerry) Schumann, Janice Monty; sister-in-law, Diane (Steve) Sommers; brother-in-law: Duane (Lynn) Buschke; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Gordy and her brother: Rock.

Pinky’s kids would like to extend a huge “Thank You” to her neighbors Tobi & Dennis Bertzyk for being there for Mom, it means more than we can ever express, to Jeff & Karen Polfuss for all of your love and support over the years, Sister Mary Ellen for the many years of friendship to mom and to the staff at Aurora Medical Center, Oshkosh for the care and compassion given to Pinky during her time under their care.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma. The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 5-7PM and again at the funeral home on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 9:30AM until the time of services at 11AM. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society.
