Betty Czlapinski of Plainfield passed away Thursday December 5th, 2013 at the age of 74.
Betty was born Betty Ann McGregor on September 11th, 1939 to Robert and Laverne (Lang) McGregor. She grew up in the Plainfield area. Betty married Richard Czlapinski September 28th, 1957. Betty worked side by side with Richard at the salvage yard they owned until 1973 when Richard and Betty transitioned to dairy farming.
Betty loved reading romance novels, watching the western channel, and playing cards. Betty treasured her family, friends, children and all of her Grandbabies. Betty's greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Richard Czlapinski, her two sons Todd and Thomas Czlapinski, her parents Robert and Laverne McGregor, and 3 brothers Bobby (Betty) McGregor, Dick McGregor, and Dan (Diane) McGregor. She is survived by: 3 brothers Alfred (Virginia) McGregor of Plainfield, Larry (June) McGregor of Bancroft, and Roy (Debra) McGregor of Weslaco, Texas 2 sisters Julia (Lee) Keenlance of Almond and Debra (Ken) Wills of Bancroft 7 children Pamela (Duane) Goman of Leland, Illinois, NonaKay Czlapinski-McKenzie of Plainfield, Tony (Roxanne) Czlapinski of Plainfield, Tim (Christina) Czlapinski of Plainfield, Tina Czlapinski of Plainfield, Tamie (Agurys) Perez of Plainfield, Travis (Gabriella) Czlapinski of Plainfield 21 grandchildren Serenity (Dustin Sparks) Goman, Cassandra Goman, James McKenzie, Victoria McKenzie, Brandon (Erica) Lavergne of Kenosha, Ryan Pollard, Robin (Tim Dalbec) Pollard, Randy Pollard, Richard Pollard, Brandon Czlapinski, Dakota Czlapinski, Destiny-Ann Czlapinski, Ashton Czlapinski, EmmaJewel Czlapinski, Sophia Czlapinski, Wyatt Czlapinski, Hannah Perez, Katy Perez, Kaely Perez, Allayna Perez, Agurys Jr. Perez 5 great grandchildren Nickolas Foster, Cameron Lavergne, Cadeden Goman, Lilyana Sparks, and Dustin Jr. Sparks, and many nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
