Beth Jennie Nigbor, age 91 passed away on Monday, April 9, 2012 at Silver Lake Manor.
She was born on October 11, 1920 in the Township of Deerfield, the daughter of Richard and Alvina (Wedde) Mischka. She married Stanley L. Nigbor on July 24, 1954 in Wautoma. He preceded her in death on May 13, 2007.
Beth enjoyed having family and friends around her as much as possible. Between making phone calls and receiving them in a day, she enjoyed spending her time talking to people throughout the day. She was always an early riser and believed that keeping busy with work and other activities kept a person going strong. She was the second to last survivor of 15 children and will be missed deeply by many and forgotten by none.
Beth is survived by her five children, Mike (Judy) Nigbor; Carol (Donald) Lill; Gary (Alice) Nigbor; Sue Nigbor and Kelda (Dave) Meyers; grandchildren, Mitchell, Michelle, Joshua and Justin; great-grandchildren Hannah and Avery. She is further survived by her sister Louise Reetz, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one great-grandchild, Bethany Phelps.
Private family services will be held.
