Bernice Flechner

Bernice Florence Flechner, age 84, of Hancock, passed away Monday morning, October 24, 2011 at Heartland House in Wautoma. She was born March 27, 1927 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Philip and Flora (Schuglat) Schallert. She married Herbert A. Flechner. He preceded her in death on October 25, 1998. Bernice was a homemaker and loving mother to seven children. She is survived by her children, Victoria (Larry) Zdroik, Sharon Dustin, Jerome (Cindy) Flechner, Shirley King, Janice (Don) Gidland, and Joanne (Glenn) Hafemeister. She is further survived by grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and by one brother, Robert (Audrey) Schallert. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Jack H. Flechner; her parents, and by one brother, Oliver Schallert. Services with burial at Wood Veterans Cemetery, Milwaukee will be held at a later date.
