Beatrice (Welch) Juslen, age 80, of Redgranite Wisconsin died unexpectedly on Thursday, September 29, 2011 surrounded by family, love and prayers. She was born to this life December 29, 1930 in Brookfield, Illinois, the daughter of Emma and Ethan Welch. Her childhood was spent in the Chicago land area until her family relocated to Fremont Wisconsin in the early 1940s to own and operate "Chiefs Place". It was here that Bea met, fell in love and married Vaino Juslen her husband of 54 years. They settled in Redgranite and started their family. At the heart of all Bea's endeavors was her family. A dedicated mom, she liked nothing more than to have a home baked treat on the counter and her family at the table, this was her joy. In addition to supporting her husband in their life long carpentry and contracting business, Bea worked away from the home. The majority of her career was dedicated to Skell Gas and later to M & I Bank. She looked forward to retirement in eager anticipation of tending to family and her lovely flower beds. A passionate gardener, she also enjoyed painting and was a founding member of the Rural Rembrandts. Many local Cub Scouts were fortunate to call Bea their Den Mother. Other pastimes included numerous card games, square dances and bingo with friends and family. Bea and Vaino enjoyed extensive travel to places as far flung as Finland, Alaska and Hawaii. Coast to coast and many states in between were visited through the years. A woman of deep faith, Bea was an involved member of her church. Coming from a talented musical family it was natural that her beautiful voice would grace the church choir throughout her life. Bea surrounded her beloved family with her steadfast love. They loved her and now lovingly release her to eternal life. She is survived by four of her children. Aaron Juslen, Neshkoro, Waino(Rene Ingwalson)Juslen, Wautoma, Warren(Joleen)Juslen, Redgranite, Brenda Juslen (Dan Hoppa) Neshkoro, four of her siblings, Marilyn Tellock, Adriene (Thomas) Going and twins Edna Welch and Ethan (Sharon) Welch, six grandchildren, Mark Juslen, Oshkosh, Juline Emons, Milwaukee, Adam Juslen, Redgranite, Michelle Juslen, Menasha, Clayton (Holly) Emons , Oshkosh and Caelin Emons, Oshkosh; one great granddaughter, Breann Emons. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Vaino, her son Kirk and her sister Esther. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday October 8, 2011 at 12 Noon at First Congregational United Church of Christ, Redgranite with Rev. Dorothy Heckner-Mendonca officiating. Inurment will be at Foster Road Cemetery, Redgranite. Relatives and friends may greet at the on Saturday at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
