Barbara Wise

Barbara A. Wise, age 78, of Wautoma, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015 at Heartland House in Wautoma. She was born May 18, 1936 in Milwaukee, the daughter, of Emmett and Florence (Nuremberg) Apel. She married Robert E. Wise on Oct. 2, 1954 in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on June 18, 1999. She and her late husband resided in Milwaukee for many years before moving to Waushara County in 1975. Barbara was a member of Waushara Community Church. She is survived by three children, Jeffrey (Susan) Wise, Wautoma, Larry (Elizabeth) Wise, Wautoma, John (Suzanne) Wise, Wake Forest, NC; 10 grandchildren, Justin (Julie) Wise, LaCrosse, Jon Wise, Wautoma, Jake Wise , Eau Claire, Jedd (Amanda) Wise, Poy Sippi, Lee Wise (Jarin Hyatt), Wautoma, Paul (Paulina) Wise, Oshkosh, Megan (Ryan) Werch, Neshkoro, Sean Wise, Oshkosh, McKenzie Wise, Florida, Jordan Wise, Wake Forest, NC; 11 great grandchildren, Nora Kay, Anna Mae, Cole, Lilly, Serena, Drew, Simon, Madison, Lazar, Willow, and Elsie; one sister, Arlene Johnson, California. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, and by one brother, Emmett Apel. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Waushara Community Church with Rev. R. Alan Spitler and Rev. Robert Timmerman co-officiating. A luncheon will follow the service at the Church. If desired, memorials may be given to Waushara Community Church, N2126 22nd Ave. Wautoma, WI 54982
