Barbara A. (Henke) LaMore Wetmore, age 65, of Hancock, passed away Sunday morning, December 14, 2014 at Appleton Medical Center. She was born March 9, 1949 in Berlin, the daughter of Clarence and Rosemary (Bielmeier) Henke. She married Steven W. LaMore on October 5, 1968 in Wautoma. He preceded her in death on January 27, 1980. She married Thomas M. Wetmore on September 18, 1981 in Hancock. He survives. She was a 1967 graduate of Wautoma High School. Barb's heart was in her home! Her caring, loving and feisty personality made her home a special gathering place. Her kitchen was never closed and many people considered her a second mom. Barb's house bloomed with flowers every summer, a benefit of her green thumb. She was passionate about her children, grandchildren and pets. She was the original DIY queen and she loved shopping at TJ Maxx. While her heart gave out, she will live forever in our hearts. She is survived by her husband, Thomas M. Wetmore, Hancock; four children, Steve LaMore, Oshkosh, Mark (Andrea) LaMore, Neshkoro, Nichole (Timothy) Frank, Westfield, Cari Wetmore (fiancé Nick Zuege), Hancock; 11 grandchildren, Breeanna & Dalton LaMore, Jonas & Jessie LaMore, Isiah "Izzy" de la Fuente, Eve & Leopold "Leo" Frank, Mason, Leeland, Lucy and Lily Zuege; two sisters, Sue (Steve) Laushine, Fort Walton Beach, FL, Rose (Steve) Pauly, St. Cloud, WI; her mother-in-law, Colleen Wetmore, Hancock; brother-in-law, Tim (Pat) Wetmore, Wisconsin Rapids; dear lifelong friends, Roger and Char Stratton, Hancock. Barb is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her first husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and by one sister Theresa in infancy. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Waushara Community Church with a luncheon to follow. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Waushara Community Church, N2126 22nd Ave., Wautoma and on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
