Barbara Janka

January 12, 1953 — August 2, 2010

Barbara A. Janka, age 57, of rural Wild Rose, passed away Monday morning, August 2, 2010 at Berlin Memorial Hospital.
She was born January 12, 1953 in Westfield, the daughter of Edwin A. and Gladys M.(Pomplun) Hoeft. She married George Janka on August 18, 1979 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wautoma.
She was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Wautoma. Barbara was currently employed at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King as a CNA for the past 18 years. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her husband, George Janka, Wild Rose; three daughters, Julie (Jim) Davis, Redgranite, Tracy (fiance' Aaron Luljak) Janka, Wild Rose, Becky (Brian) Korleski, Benton, WI; four grandchildren, Amber and Skyller Davis, Christopher and Andrew Korleski; her grandmother, Dora Peterson, Wild Rose; one sister, Beverly (Ronnie) Krueger, Berlin; her loving canine companions, Snowy and Rebel; nieces and nephews, Brian (Marian) Krueger, Lori (Brett) Piotrowski, Amber Krueger; one great niece, Alexis Krueger; special nephew, Jeremy Janka; further survived by other relatives and many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Kenny Hoeft.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 6, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wautoma with the Rev. William Meier officiating. Burial will be in the Wautoma Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:00- 8:00 p.m. in the Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until the time of services at the church.
