Barbara Cefalu

Barbara (Janzer) Cefalu, age 82 of Wautoma, formerly of Milwaukee, died on Sunday, May 10 2015 in Wild Rose. She was born on February 10, 1933 in Milwaukee to Bernard and Leona (Wiesner) Janzer. Barbara worked as a cashier for Kohl's Grocery Stores for over 20 years. In 1982 she married Peter Cefalu in Milwaukee. After retiring, the couple moved to Wautoma to enjoy their lake home. Barbara also enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and retired member of Italian Community Ladies of Unico.

Barbara is survived by her children: Michael (Bonnie) Maglio, Steven (Jackie) Maglio, Jane Kunath, Lori Maglio, Beth Maglio, Mary Jo (Theodore) Maglio-Kubisiak; grandchildren: Kathryn Maglio, Elizabeth Maglio, Alaura Maglio, Caleb Maglio, Courtney Maglio, Steven Kunath, Elaine Kunath, Geremy Kunath, Alexandra Nadolski, Theo Maglio, Mara Kubisiak; great grandchildren: Toni Walters, Ronan Maglio, Tyson Maglio; step-sons: Theodore, John and Peter Cefalu; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Peter Cefalu in 2011; son: John Maglio; brother: Ronnie Janzer and sister: Joan Spiel.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12PM (NOON) on Friday, May 15, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wautoma. Officiating at the mass will be Rev. David Greskowiak with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery, Wautoma. The family will greet relatives and friends at church on Friday from 11AM until the time of Mass at 12 (NOON). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church in Barbara's name.
