Babette R. Cain, age 86, of Wautoma, WI passed away Thursday evening May 3, 2012 at Heartland House, CBRF in Wautoma.
She was born September 3, 1925 in Covington, LA, the daughter of Julius C. and Ruby H. (Park) Rhodes. She married Paul F. Cain on August 2, 1945 in Indianapolis, IN. He preceded her in death on February 13, 2007.
Mrs. Cain was employed in the Wheaton Public Schools for many years. She was a member of the Waushara County Club and the Ladies Golf League. Mrs. Cain was a faithful member of Grace United Methodist Church, Wautoma where she actively participated as a reader at Sunday services and helped prepare many funeral luncheons with the Grace United Methodist Women. Mrs. Cain also enjoyed reading, watching her favorite game shows and tending to her flower beds.
She is survived by one daughter, Susan C. (Larry) Riendeau of Wautoma; one son, Richard P. (Barbara) Cain of Durham, NC; one grandson, Paul L. (Karen) Riendeau of Brown Deer and two granddaughters, Heather and Laurel Cain of North Carolina. She is further survived by one sister Norma Rae White of Louisiana; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the Grace United Methodist Church, Wautoma from 11:00am until 12:00 NOON. A time of food and fellowship will follow with a Memorial Service beginning at 1:00pm at the Church.
