Arlene E. Barnes, age 85, of Coloma, passed away Wednesday evening, September 19, 2012 at St. Michaels Hospital, Stevens Point.
She was born September 2, 1927 in Coloma, the daughter of Louis and Elizabeth (Traver) Premo. She married Robert A. Barnes on March 15, 1947 in Hancock.
Mrs. Barnes was a faithful member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Coloma. Arlene was active with the American Legion Auxillary of Hancock and Coloma. She graduated from Coloma High School.
She is survived by her husband, Robert A. Barnes, Coloma; her children, Robert G. Barnes, Wautoma, Timothy R. (Mary) Barnes, Sheridan, WY., Cynthia L. (Roger) Kleinstick, Wausau, Randy J. (Kelly) Barnes, Chugiak, AK., Rebecca (Chris) Turek, Anchorage, AK; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; further survived by nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, other relatives and many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Hancock Cemetery.
