It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Antoinette "Toni" Denler,75. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. Whether you met Toni once or knew her for a lifetime, she left an indelible mark of joy, kindness and laughter on your heart. Known for her generous spirit, great sense of humor, and love of life, her spirit will live on in all who knew and loved her.
Born and raised in Milwaukee, Toni met her beloved husband Paul, when their passion for skiing drew them together. They married and settled in Menomonee Falls, where they raised their three boys; John, Mark, and Tom. Summers were spent on Silver Lake filled with boating, gatherings of families and friends, and an open house welcome to all. Winters also brought many wonderful family adventures skiing the Rockies and the Upper Peninsula.
In addition to being a dedicated wife and mother, Toni was also an accomplished business woman. Alongside her best friend Judy, Toni ran a successful salon for over 29 years. She loved connecting with her clients, who she also considered as friends. Making people feel beautiful inside and out was one of Toni’s greatest gifts.
Despite losing her beloved husband way too young, Toni continued to live life to the fullest. Her greatest loves were her boys and their families they created. One of the greatest joys of her life was when John and his wife Monica, had two girls of their own. Grammy, as she was affectionately known, loved Abby and Greta dearly and never missed a moment to celebrate “her girls”.
Toni spent her later years living at the family lake house in Wautoma, where she shared a lifetime of memories and was continually surrounded by a community of great friends.
Toni, mom, and Grammy will be missed every day by John (Monica) of Denver, CO, Mark of Taos, NM and Tom (Kazumi) of Arlington, VA.
The family will be holding a Catholic funeral on Thursday January 7th at 2PM at St James Catholic Church, 315 N Main St, Neshkoro, WI. Toni and Paul’s Catholic faith was very important to them so there is comfort in knowing they are together again.
