Anthony “Tony” Gassaway, age 60, of Wautoma, passed away Saturday morning, February 9, 2019 at his home.
He was born February 5, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of LeRoy and Jeannetta (Dixon) Gassaway. He married Laurie Lynn Lock on March 20, 1999 in Wautoma. Tony was employed as a welder at Magnum Products in Berlin. He loved fishing and creating metal sculpture art.
He is survived by his wife, Laurie L. Gassaway, Wautoma; one son, David (Crystal) Shamsi, Eagle, WI; three grandsons, Kaeden, Kaeleb, and Dax; two brothers, Michael McCoy, San Francisco, CA, Patric McCoy, Chicago, IL; his mother-in-law, Marian Lock, Bonita Springs, FL; one sister-in-law, Margaret (Paul) Finucan, Naples, FL; two brothers-in-law, James (Sherri) Lock, Cape Coral, FL and Tony (Carrie) Lock, Thornton, Iowa. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held in the spring in Chicago.
