Anne A. (Raspolic) Novak, age 92, of Wautoma, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Silver Lake Haven CBRF where she had resided.
She was born February 16, 1919 in Sanborn, Wisconsin, the daughter of Anton and Lena (Mihalik) Raspolic. She married Joseph Novak on November 7, 1942 at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Chicago, Illinois. He preceded her in death on April 19, 1983.
Anne loved gardening, especially tending to her flowers and sitting out in the sunshine. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, as well as Bingo Night at Silver Lake Manor, and watching her "stories" such as Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and Days of Our Lives. Anne adored her grandchildren and will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by one daughter, Rita Pollak and her husband James, Wautoma; two sons, Richard Novak, Arlington Heights, IL; and Ronald Novak, Chicago, IL; two grandsons, Zachary Pollak and his fiancée Sarah of Oshkosh; Joseph Pollak and his wife Danielle of Waupaca; three great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Nevaeh Anne and Owen Pollak. She is further survived by one sister Rose of Bartlett, IL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Joe, Louis and Peter; four sisters, Lee, Margaret, Mary and Catherine and one daughter-in-law Bernadette Novak.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 11:00am in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wautoma. She will be laid to rest in Markesan Memorial Park Cemetery beside her husband.
Relatives and Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 5:00pm until 7:00pm in the Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma and on Wednesday from 10:00am until the time of services at the Church.
The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at Silver Lake Manor/Haven for all the years of care and love shown to mom!
