Albert J. Rudolph, age 76, of Hancock, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening, May 11, 2011 at his home.
He was born July 19, 1934 in Minnesota, the son of Joseph and Irene (Mecl) Rudolph. He married Ellen S. Hofstedt on February 2, 1956.
Mr. Rudolph was an avid outdoorsmen who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He served his country in the United States Army. He retired from Ethan Allen School for Boys.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen S. Rudolph, Hancock; one daughter, Deborah E. LaSusa, Princeton; his grandchildren, Nicole and Brittany Rudolph, Waukesha, Matt (special friend, Kristen Neumiller) LaSusa, Waukesha and Gine (special friend, Josh Peterson) LaSusa, Waukesha; a great grandchild, Audrina Peterson; special friends, Larry LaSusa and Le Ann Rudolph; his brothers and sisters, JoAnne (Gilbert) Stenberg, Betty Ann Rudolph, Joey (Jackie) Rudolph, Jan (Bill) Godden; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, David and Douglas Rudolph; his brother, Donald and a granddaughter, Angela.
Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at 12:00 noon in the Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield with the Rev. Robert Krell officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. Sunday until the time of services at the funeral home.
