Adeline M. Olson, age 95, formerly of Hancock, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Hillview Health Care Center, La Crosse.
She was born June 30, 1915 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Hugo and Selma (Kerry) Dumke. She married Albin Radtke in July 19, 1937. He preceded her death on April 23, 1983. She married Oscar Olson on August 3, 1985 in Wautoma. He preceded her in death on October 1, 2000.
Adeline spent the majority of her life in Hancock before relocating to La Crosse in 1995. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Wautoma for a number of years. Adeline was actively in involved in the Hancock Lioness Club, the Waushara County Association of Retarded Citizens and the Hancock Bowling association. Adeline also enjoyed quilting beautiful quilts for her grandchildren and enjoyed fishing. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her children, Edward Radtke, Madison; Ruth Radtke, La Crosse; Steven (Sharon) Radtke, La Crosse; Daniel Radtke, Port Jervis, NY and Suzanne (Mike) Miller, Lodi; four grandchildren, Adam Menke, Aaron Menke, Hailey (Sgt. John Joseph) Bobb and Steve (Laura) Radtke; one brother-in-law, Robert (Agnes) Radtke; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Harriet Stahl and Margaret Bilder, one brother John Dumke, and two sisters-in-law, Mary Dumke and Ann Radtke.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 11:00am in Hope Lutheran Church, Wautoma with Rev. Nathan Gauerke officiating. She will be laid to rest in Hancock Cemetery.
A time of visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:00am until the time of services at the Church.
